Synopsis : Years later, while savoring a candy, Analua relives an afternoon from her childhood when she discovered between the monotony of the countryside and the boundlessness of her imagination that candies come at a price. A short film that quietly reflects the harsh reality faced by many working-class families in the Brazilian outskirts during the 1990s.
I believe it is the fragments of our past — memories, small seemingly ordinary moments — that shape who we are. Cinema, for me, is the possibility of revisiting those memories and touching the hearts of others.
