Filmography: From 2022 to 2024, Gian Arre served as the communications head at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, a German political foundation in the Philippines fighting for human rights and democracy. He was also a delegate of Jun Lana's CINEPANULAT screenwriting workshop, a member of Richard Bolisay's CINE CRITICO, and among the 24th Batch of Ricky Lee's screenwriting workshop. Additionally, he was a delegate of film labs like FDCP's Full Circle Lab 2022, Sikap's animation pitch lab from 2021-2022, and Cinemalaya's development lab for both the 2023 and 2024 semi-finalists. His first feature, TETHER, became a finalist at the Cinemalaya 19 Independent Film Festival and won Best Actor & Best Sound Design. It has since won and been selected for several festivals in Europe and Asia in 2024. His second feature, IN THE TRENCHES OF THE PINK REVOLUTION, is a full-length documentary that premiered at Freedom Mov_E 2023 in Naga City.
