Culiacan is a worldwide known city for being the headquarters of the "Cartel of Sinaloa", one of the most powerful of all. This movie was made completely in Culiacan, some days we were shooting while armed hitmen were passing by, and some of them stopped attracted by the idea of the kind of movie that we were filming. In Mexico, almost all the movies are made in the capital, Mexico City. Our movie is the only one made in Culiacan in recent times. Since the beginning of this project, I have embraced the idea of presenting a critique of all the corrupted decisions that the governments of Mexico and the USA have implemented, the operative "Fast and Furious" (included in our movie) is a great example, many innocent people fell death thanks to these failed policies. In order to develop this idea I made to myself the following question; What happens if a Mexican soldier who fought during the highest point of the government's war against the drug cartels fell into a coma at that point and woke up many years later just to discover that the war was full of corruption and agreements between the cartels and the Mexican government? how he will feel knowing that many of their colleagues died in vain?
