Avyel Cohen is a filmmaker and video editor. As the co-founder of his own production company, he has directed several short films. Deeply inspired by the cinematic vision of Christopher Nolan, Avyel recently wrote and directed The Silence of the Mime. Supported by a regional film fund, the short film has garnered international acclaim, winning awards for Best Direction and Best Screenplay. It has been officially selected at the Cheongju International Short Film Festival and made its notable US debut at the prestigious San Diego International Jewish Film Festival.
