Maxence Genestier, born on May 7, 1990, in Angers, is a young director, screenwriter, and editor. After studying at the International Institute of Image and Sound (3IS) in Yvelines, he worked in cinema as a prop master or production manager on feature films such as Night Fare by Julien Seri, and The Model by Mads Matthiesen. In 2019, he directed and wrote his first self-produced short film, Master of your own world, which won several festival awards (Audience Award, Grand Jury Prizes...). In 2024, he directed and wrote his second short film, Thief of Dreams, which he also produced.
