Chronology of a Judgment

Synopsis : A courtroom. A man awaiting his verdict. Through his inner voice, he reflects on the one who holds his fate: the judge. From the judge’s morning routine to the solemnity of the trial, the film questions the fragile boundary between objectivity and subjectivity in justice. In a society where the death penalty looms, can a human being ever render judgment without being shaped by his own private life, emotions, and unspoken biases? Who is truly judging whom—the magistrate delivering the sentence, or the accused observing the man behind the robe? Through a stark contrast between color and black-and-white imagery, the film invites the audience to confront the enigma of justice itself.
