Simon Pierrat and Pierre-Marie Charbonnier met during their audiovisual BTS program, specializing in cinematography, in 2009 in Lyon. Together, they founded the artist and technician collective Compose It Art and have made more than fifteen internationally awarded films. The two friends have evolved together since then and are now recognized for their complementarity and artistic vision. Even though they move forward as a duo, each one brings specific skills that enrich their joint productions. Simon naturally thrives in technical mastery. Responsible for the shooting equipment and technical breakdown, he ensures that each shot is visually captivating and contributes to the film's narrative. Pierre-Marie, on the other hand, leverages his ability to direct actors to achieve the desired intentions. He ensures the smooth execution of the script and the choreography between actors and the camera.
