Synopsis : Having created a theater where many artists found a home for their entire life, Viktor Panov also opened an art path for audiences, who want to see not always smooth, but free action. The Youth Theatre, born in 1975, has gone from bans on performances in its native Arkhangelsk to performances at the Avignon Festival. In 1990 Viktor Panov organized the International Festival of Street Theaters, which still gathers groups from all over the world in the city by the White Sea. The festival was included in the UNESCO Cultural Development Program in 1992. Later the Youth Theatre was awarded the National Theatre Award - The Golden Mask. Each of these steps is a desire to rise above the material world and to build a space where everything is art and life is a miracle.
